The Bible matters here. We try to take it seriously in our teaching and in our living, and most Sundays, our approach will be to go through the Bible in a verse-by-verse manner. We believe that trying to understand the Bible as it was written–and meant to be understood–is very important. What if Sunday morning was about more than being preached at, sang to, and asked for money–but instead, was an experience where you had the opportunity to speak, to share your life with others, to respond to the message and talk about it with others? At Red Oak, it is. Too many times, churches approach the making of disciples in a “scattershot” fashion; we are trying to be intentional about what we’re doing here at Red Oak. We want you to know and love Jesus through gaining a better grasp on His Word and His mission.
