Children’s Ministry

Hi, I’m Renee McLean, Director of Children’s Ministry at Red Oak.

I’ve been working with children for nearly 20 years, and I began working with kids because God called me there and I had small children myself, so I realized the need for effective ministry to children. I feel confident in saying that working with children is what God designed and called me to do (and I enjoy it, as well!).

I have a real desire to see families come to love and follow God, and particularly, I believe in the importance of children coming to know Christ at a young age. I take this ministry seriously, and I’ve recruited a qualified team of teachers and leaders who are committed to quality and compassion as they minister to you and your children.

As a church, Red Oak is committed to these same things, and that’s why I’m really excited to welcome you and your children to our Children’s Ministry at Red Oak. We meet at 10:00 on Sunday mornings; I hope to see you there!

Red Oak Children’s Ministry exists to partner with parents to give children a love for God’s Word and a desire to become completely devoted followers of Christ, to give families the tools they need to stand firm in the midst of life’s issues.
