Lots of stuff to mention, so here goes:

1. Powder Springs Park July 4 Outreach
Tomorrow evening, 6:00 PM, at Powder Springs Park. We’ll be set up on the right as you come into the park, under the trees, passing out bottled water and freezie pops for the kids. You might want to bring chairs or a blanket to sit out and watch the fireworks. This event combines fun and ministry!

2. This Sunday’s lunch plans
The new quarter begins; we’ll have the Quarter 3 lunch plans sheet available in your boxes. This Sunday, we’ll make it easy on everyone: La Cabana, just up from the church (toward Marietta) on the right, across from Kroger, has a nice Mexican buffet, inexpensive and yummy.

3. Band of Brothers to the Braves game
Friday evening, July 18. More details Sunday!

4. VBS Outreach Day
July 19, Renee McLean is organizing an outreach to spread the word about VBS to neighborhoods near the church. We need all hands on deck (and it’ll be fun!). More details Sunday.

5. Women’s Brunch
Saturday, July 26, 10 AM at the church. Time to get Women’s Ministry off the ground; all ladies are invited and encouraged to bring friends!

Don’t forget about our FLOCKs as well; the Harvey FLOCK meets tonight at our home at 6:30 PM. Hope you can join us!
