Sunday Lunch
Often, we eat lunch together. This is a great way to get to know folks (and the food ain’t bad either!). Our commitment is to be relationship-based, and so sharing lunch together is one of the ways we do that. Here’s the schedule for the first quarter of 2010:
January 3 Hidalgo’s Mexican Restaurant, just across Dallas Highway and a little west, has a nice Mexican buffet, relatively inexpensive. We’ll eat there this Sunday.
January 10 Chili Chowdown - Everybody loves chili, especially on a cold winter day! A crockpot of chili, bread/crackers, a dessert, and a 2-liter drink will do the trick!
January 17 No lunch together this week.
January 24 Stevi B’s Pizza Buffet at the corner of Dallas Highway and Barrett Parkway will be our lunch destination.
January 31 No lunch together this week.
February 7 No lunch together this week.
February 14 No lunch together this week. It’s Valentine’s, guys; take your sweetheart out to eat!
February 21 Panera Bread at The Avenue at West Cobb is a delightful place for lunch. Join us there!
February 28 Soup/Salad/Sandwich lunch. It’s pretty self-explanatory, right? Afterwards, a church birthday party will give us cause to celebrate!
March 7 No lunch together this week.
March 14 Submarine Sunday (hey, it sounds better than “Hoagie Hogout” or something!). We’ll buy bread for subs; you bring lunch meats, cheese, and other fixins’, as well as a bag o’ chips, maybe a dessert, and a drink. We’ll put all the stuff together and make a nice “sub bar”!
March 21 No lunch together this week.
March 28 Cookout! The weather ought to be good enough to permit us to grill up the burgers, dogs, and whatever else you bring. Like chips/salads/desserts, and the like.
