What To Expect

Red Oak moved to our new location at 3405 Dallas Hwy. in November, 2009. We’re a small church, trying to live out the commands of Jesus to love God and love others. When you come, expect
- To be welcomed by one of our friendly greeters
- To see folks talking together, with smiles on their faces and coffee cups in their hands
- To get several warm handshakes from new friends
- To see our meeting place arranged in both round tables and rows; sit where you like!
- To experience a time of worshipping God in singing; join in, when you’re ready!
- To hear the Bible proclaimed in expository fashion—in other words, most Sundays, Pastor Byron will take a portion of the Bible and attempt to explain what it means, and then apply it to our lives
- To be invited to join us afterwards for lunch; about every other Sunday, on average, we eat together!
- Not to have to speak up or stand up or pray out loud until you’re comfortable doing those things, whenever that is
- To not feel any pressure to give money
We’re going to be a little bit different type of church. We think that that’s a good thing, and we invite you to join us!
