What To Expect

Red Oak launched as a new church on September 16, 2007. We meet for worship at 10:00 AM in our nicely-redone, but-a-bit-more-work-yet-to-do auditorium. So when you come, expect…
- To be greeted by Dan, our friendly greeter
- To see folks talking together, with smiles on their faces and coffee cups in their hands
- To get several warm handshakes from new friends
- To see our meeting place arranged in round tables rather than pews
- To experience a time of worshipping God in singing—join in, when you’re ready!
- To hear the Bible proclaimed in expository fashion—in other words, most Sundays, Pastor Byron will take a portion of the Bible and attempt to explain what it means, and then apply it to our lives
- To be invited to join us afterwards for lunch; most Sundays, we eat together!
- Not to have to speak up or stand up or pray out loud—until you’re comfortable doing those things, whenever that is
- To not feel any pressure to give money
We’re going to be a little bit different type of church—we think that that’s a good thing, and we invite you to join us!
